The Aegean convex mirror started life as a well shaped hard frame that is back-filled with clear resin to give heft and solidity. After lacquering it a deep blue I stacked three shades of blue Venetian glass rods into the crevices of the frame. Read more.
Attached are lapiz-lazuli and quartz rock crystal spheres to the tips of the rays. Blue glass cabochons encase a second frame around the mirror.
The Aegean convex mirror is about 12.5 inches in diameter.
